Local author and permaculture teacher Anna Locke – aka Permaculture Anna - is to run a short, hands-on day course in St. Leonards On Sea, ‘Plan Your Forager’s Garden’, with the aim of inspiring people to grow their own low-maintenance, edible paradise. Her book, ‘The Forager’s Garden’, has helped many people develop low-maintenance edible gardens where they can forage without leaving home, and the course lays out some of the book’s main teachings, helping you to create a garden full of delicious and easy-to-care-for plants.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or adding to your existing garden, allotment, or land project, the course will help you design a space where you work less but grow more. By the end of the day, you’ll know which trees and shrubs to plant, where to place them, and how to choose the perfect edible companions to fill your garden with food. The…
