Working with Hastings Theatre Project, local twins are within touching distance of bringing to life a play based on their experience of a cancer diagnosis on turning 40. And it turns out, it's a comedy.

The trouble with most stories about twins is that usually the twins have to be really weird. Or one of them has to die.
Anna and Georgina, identical twins, know that this premise is unfair and ridiculous because real life is actually much more boring... isn't it?
Based on letters they exchanged throughout the last 18 months, reenactments of hospital appointments and the healing power of 80s pop, they have written a script for a play sharing their story of twins. Unravelling.Â
It's the people in this town that really pulled them through the last year and a half, so they hope that together with some of the extraordinarily talented people in Hastings' creative community something positive and fun can come out of it all.Â
They are now crowdsourcing funding to do this and bring the play to life! It's 85% funded and they've got 5 days to go.Â
